Emergency Response ::

Lacing and Thinning :: 

This involves the proper trimming of branches, and removal of deadwood that will improve the trees looks, wind resistance and shape. When properly performed by an experienced professional your trees will have a semi-transparent, lacy appearance.


Oak Tree Trimming :: 

Roy Boak Jr. is an ISA certified arborist recognized by the City of Santa Clarita as a Qualified Tree Trimming Contractor. This combined with a thorough knowledge of the processes involved with regards to Oak tree permits and inspection procedures will allow us to provide exceptional service to you.


Safety Trimming :: 

The removal of unsafe and/or damaged portions of a tree in attempts to improve the safety of a tree and its surroundings.


Weight Reduction :: 

This consists of larger cuts that successfully reduce the weight and associated stress on extremely overburdened areas of the tree.


Crown Reduction :: 

This procedure involves reducing the height of a tree by means of drop crotching, which is when the crown is brought down to a lateral that can eventually replace the portion being removed.


Crown Restoration :: 

This a procedure performed when a tree has been improperly topped.  The top of the tree can be restructured so that it will fill back in naturally and eventually be restored.


Cabling and Bracing :: 

In certain situations when additional support is desired, (such as often happens in overburdened or multi trunk trees) The installation of steel cables between the branches, in conjunction with proper weight reduction trimming can often reduce the stress on weak or overburdened attachment points increasing the safety of your tree. To insure that this work is performed correctly and that this is a worthwhile procedure, please allow our certified arborist to evaluate your particular situation.


Tree Removal :: 

Tree removals are performed with qualified climbers using ropes and certified equipment to slowly lower the branches to the ground.  This procedure combined with a careful clean-up will restore your property to its original condition.  We are experienced in close quarter and over house removals and will get the job done quickly and safely. All wood can either be cut to firewood size logs for you or loaded into our trucks and removed. We pride ourselves in leaving your property extremely clean.

Stump Removal :: 

After removal of the tree to ground level it may desirable to have us grind the stump and any large or exposed roots out of the ground.  We have four different types of stump grinders to meet virtually any situation.  Stump grinding also produces chips that make excellent ground cover for flower beds or planter boxes.


Brush Clearance :: 

Used commonly for fire prevention measures, this involves removing excess brush or vegetation.  Care must be taken to insure this does not create erosion problems, especially on hillsides.
